Trinity River Vision

We were invited to an unveiling ceremony Streams and Valleys is having tonight for the Bridges of the Trinity River VisionTrinity River Vision, designed by renowned architect Bing Thom.

I'm curious to see what they'll look like... I'll try to sneak a camera in so I can post some photos here.

If you're asking about the new symbols on the new "bicycle routes" in Fort Worth...

They're FW's idea of letting motorists know it's a "Bike Route". Of course we thought they'd be A) smaller and B) off to the side of the lane... but hey, bigger is good, very visible, and heck its something!

Of 60 miles of Bike Routes going in, I understand over 60% are now complete. These are the NCTCOG planned routes from 1999 that FW City Council funded this year after cyclists showed up in force at council meeting back in May! Cyclists aren't a minority if they unite and show-up together!

A map of the routes can be found on LMRA Bicycle Club website. A direct link to map is at

or read background and see map at

Let them finish this... then we'll look to next need for cycling... together.
