This once was a blog for a bike shop... now it's the personal blog of a bike mechanic. I'll talk bikes and bike culture, with a special emphasis on the Fort Worth area.

Dude, I'm at work- I can't get my heart rate that high at my desk.
You're killing me!
RrrrrAAAAAHHHrrrrrrr!
Too bad there are all those GEARED bikes in the background of the shot ;)

Fixed freaks unite!
Did I tell you we're making a fixed gear bike next year? Oh wait... that's a secret... don't tell anybody.
Too bad I let the secret out of the bag all over the fixed gear forum on bikeforums.net. Woops.
Remember, if you need a fixed gear frame tester I'm here to help...oh and um...throw some lugs on it.

Well Tim... the cat's out of the bag; you gonna tell 'em what COLOR it's gonna be?
Orange please.

Bernie is "outing me" here... man, using our friendship to put the thumbscrews to me big time... man...
Ok, just between you, me and everybody who ever reads this, the intended color is going to be very similar to the cool Molteni orange that Merckx rode "back in the day". It'll have the old "heritage style" panel graphic that we use on our other steel bikes. It'll be so hot, women will throw their clothes at you when you ride by (or guys, for the ladies).
I wish I could do it with lugs, but it's just not the kind of thing I can do right now for the price I need to be able to sell this bike. Would I prefer to do lugs? Yeah sure, you betcha. Will I one day... I hope. First you'll just have to try and get one of the limited run vintage reproduction frames we're doing... but I digress.
Honest to Hay-soos truth, you heard about the color here on Panther City blog first. Breaking news... more at 11:00!
Very cool!
