In today's world of threadless steerer tubes and their accompanying flippable stems, the reversible stem logo is pretty much the norm. But why would a bike manufacturer (like the Fuji stem in the photo) put a flip-flop logo on a quill stem that can't be inverted? They could have put a 50% larger and easier-to-read logo on the stem. Kind of makes you wonder about their attention to design detail on the rest of the bike.

Uh, why does that so called threadless stem have a big collar nut on the headset?
The one in the photo is not a threadless stem. It's a quill stem, as a more careful reading of the post will reveal.
My point was, why put a flip-flop logo on a non-threadless stem. This stem can't be inverted, so it just doesn't make sense.
I would comment, but then I would be bashing a competitor and that is uncool.
I actually brought this up to this area's Fuji rep since he was in the store today... he laughed and said he'd bring it up with the Fuji folks...
